    To whom it concerns,

I really like your blog. Your reviews are fair and thorough and you seem to have a wide breadth of subjects you’re interested in reviewing.

Myself and my friend Nicky, both of us lecturers in a technical college here in Ireland, have recently started our own podcast on a weekly basis. It is quite general in topic but generally comedic in tone. Thus far, we have chosen a different subject each week that we discuss at some length. We seem to be doing quite well with a good number of subscribers and good feedback/questions from our listenership.

Episode 12 was posted this week on the subject of The Creative Process.

We’re keen to expand our audience of course and would really appreciate you having a listen.

You can listen/subscribe to the nilpod here: http://feeds2.feedburner.com/Nilpod

    Thanks for your time,

    Wil McDermott.

    Hey, Jeremy,

May I humbly suggest my own podcast: MIGHTY MOVIE PODCAST – Interviews with Filmmakers? We’re just finishing up our third week, and have already posted interviews with such unique directors as Tim Disney (AMERICAN VIOLET), Eran Riklis (THE SYRIAN BRIDE, LEMON TREE), and Slava Tsukerman (LIQUID SKY, PERESTROIKA), with Michael Keaton and Atom Egoyan coming up soon.

I’ve been doing film journalism for a while, mostly text in such publications as Cinefantastique and such online outlets as the Independent Film Channel and Air America Media. I moved into video a few years back, and now am hoping to fill film fans’ hunger to go behind the scenes with these short (usually about 15 minutes), candid, and entertaining interviews.

    Enjoy!

    Dan Persons

Please let us know what you think of our podcast – Max Buffer’s Media Museum. It’s a rather daft, and fairly English, assortment of recollections and recommendations from two moderately successful, but ultimately failed, fictional media veterans named Max Buffer and Terry Bland. They offer their appalling advice to media wannabes and come up with shows so awful that they could be real. It is, I hope, a satire on modern television and the cynical way in which producers treat their audiences.

It might be a touch too Anglocentric in places, but I would appreciate any feedback you could give us.

We can be found at http://mediamuseum.libsyn.com and our website is http://www.mediamuseum.co.uk.

    Jeremy,
We’d love if you’d check out our podcast The Randy Rando Randonopolis Show. We look at our podcast as a “highly structured ramblecast”. Yes, we talk about T.V., movies, books, music, video games, and pretty much anything under the umbrella of pop culture but aren’t there a million shows doing this? What sets the Randy Rando apart? Well, the hosts Adam, Dave and Zozos are high school teachers talk about all of things of course but n doing so challenge the stereotype of teachers being uninteresting, politically correct work fiends that plug back into their Borg charging units at the end of the school day only to be dusted off and have the key in their backs wound up every morning. These guys are guys like an other guys and like to talk about guy stuff…(guy). The Randy Rando is a smart, witty, sarcastic, and current podcast that doesn’t take itself too seriously but always aims to put out a quality show.

You can find us easily on iTunes or at therandyrando.blogspot.com

    Hey Jerm,
I love reading your blog! I have a podcast that I recently created and hopefully you’ll take a listen to. It’s called Southern Beer Review (http://squaresouth.com/sbr) and here is the description from our site:

The Southern Beer Review is a weekly podcast produced by James and Anna Gass. Each week we review two beers and at least one of those is either a specialty beer, import beer, or a microbrew. During each review we provide information on the history of the styles and history on the beers themselves. We also provide information on food pairing for each beer. Our goal is to reach out not only to the beer connoisseur but to the average beer drinker as well and encourage you to try something new and provide useful information at the same time.

    Thanks,
    James

    Hey!

I’d love it if you fancied reviewing our new(ish) comedy podcast:

    http://www.flat29.com/podcast

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Flat 29’s Big Book of Everything is a weekly comedy podcast cataloguing and discussing the contents of our universe. Each week a new chapter is released tackling a new and exciting subject.

Full of useless trivia, rambling anecdotes, ludicrous discussions, and a new comedy song every week, Flat 29’s Big Book of Everything is an enjoyable way to expand your knowledge about everything (as long as you currently know nothing at all about anything)

    Thanks a lot!

I host a film criticism podcast called More Than One Lesson. It is Christian themed, approaching film from a predominantly thematic standpoint. I’ve discussed such films as “Milk,” “The Hurt Locker,” “Fireproof,” “Hellboy,” and “Religulous.” Even though I’ve only put out 15 episodes, the show has been nominated for a Podcast Award in the “Religion/Inspiration” category. I’d love to get your thoughts on the show.

  35. December 5, 2009 2:41 AM

While we’re at it, I host another podcast called Battleship Pretension. This is also a movie podcast, but not specifically Christian in nature, nor is it focused on reviewing new releases. Rather, my co-host, David Bax, and I pick a different topic each week and discuss it for about an hour or so. Past topics have included discussions of The Hayes Code, our favorite Awesome Movie Deaths, and the Best Movies of the 2000s.
We will also have guests on the show, often from the world of stand-up comedy (though many have film and television credits, as well). Past guests have included the Sklar Brothers (“Wild Hogs”), Paul Rust (“I Love You, Beth Cooper”), Maurice LaMarche (“Pinky and the Brain”), Mather Zickel (“Rachel Getting Married”), and Frank Conniff (“Mystery Science Theater 3000”).
The show has been going for over two and a half years now and has really started to break out in the last six months.
That said, we’d love to get your views on the show.

Hey, if you are still taking suggestions I thought I might post one here

Cult of Personality Podcast is a comedic show that covers a variety of pop culture topics. We have talked about TV show spin-offs, movie remakes, debated the best titles and sports names, created our own holiday and theme restaurant and even made up fake products on the fly. Usually funny and always vulgar, the hosts each try to bring their own perspectives to the topic at hand. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy recording. And remember, Cult of Personality Podcast…it’s better than a kick in the nuts.

I’ve recently found a podcast I love, and thought you might want to check it out…. it’s called “Reel Pour” and I found it on itunes. What they do is go and see a movie in theaters every week and then pair a bottle of wine with it based on a couple of different factors. Then they open the bottle and taste it on air describing what they taste (which is really interesting by itself), and discuss both the movie and the wine, then review both. It’s really interesting and I’m even learning about wine with them being condescending. You can really feel their passions for both wine and movies. I’m also a fan of Filmspotting, Creative Screen writing magazine podcast, the classic tales podcast, the moth podcast and a bunch of others.

We (The Ministry of Geek) would really appreciate you reviewing our emergent podcast — The Ministry of Geek — the musings of a couple of Kiwi (New Zealand) geeks chatting about tech news, geek issues and other random matters, in a 30-40 minute episodic, light-hearted and entertaining format. We’ve got 6 episodes under our belt (of which the last two have much improved audio quality after investing in a decent microphone!)

We’re in iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/podcast/the-ministry-of-geek/id385523983 or directly from our blog: http://theministryofgeek.wordpress.com

    Kind regards,

    Hi!

I write children’s poetry and decided to create a podcast of me reading them – for children who don’t have my book, for those who want to read along or just listen in the car.
So far, I’ve only read published poems (52), and they’re in the same order as the book. But now that my Podcast has been out for a month, I’ll start adding more new and unpublished poems…
Anything to give parents a few minutes break while sparking the imaginations of their children!

I’d love it if you’d review my work:

I’ve been doing a podcast for about 6 months about cult movies. Either I’ll get comedians to come on the show to review and make fun of a movie or I’ll have an interview with someone who’s been in or made a cult hit. Often both in one episode. THe show is fun and fast moving.

We also have some comedy bits.

Past guests have included, actors from Uwe Boll’s films, from “Pluto Nash,” “Troll 2” and “Dirty Love” among others.

Comedians have included, Todd Levin (Conan), Adam Felber (npr), Al Madrigal, Steve Agee and Chris Spencer.

The Peacock and Gamble podcast may be the funniest comedy podcast out there at the moment. It needs much more recognition than it has, though word of mouth has done a lot for it considering they aren’t big names.

I have a podcast called the Fantasy Movie Podcast, which reviews as you might expect Fantasy Movies. I would like to submit it for your consideration for a possible review. We have been around for about two years now, so there should be plenty of episodes to choose from if you decide to review us. If not, that’s cool too. You provide a great service for podcasters. Its hard to get any comments about a podcast, let alone an actual review of the show itself.

    Hey there,

Maybe you could take a look at the MSI: Music Scene Investigation video podcast when you find the time. Each week we review 3 random songs submitted by unsigned and indie artists and at the end of each show we decided on a Song Of The Week to be promoted through our website and social networks. Our reviews are based on an honest and truthful, one listen only basis and we try to cover the quality of songwriting, mixing, production, arrangement as well as personal taste.

Every week we are joined by a guest panelist who is an expert in their field, and have been joined by award winning songwriter John Schroeder, Britain’s Best Blues drummer for 5 years concurrent Sam Kelly, Singer/Songwriter/Producer Paul Miro as well as journalists, radio DJ’s, indie music website owners and more…

Check out the website and watch the shows at http://msi.icweekly.net

    Howdy –

I stumbled onto your site while looking for avenues on how to promote my weekly podcast – which is posted every Wednesday (and sometimes Friday’s).

I’d love for you to give it a listen!

Here is a description of the show:

The Bumperpodcast is an oftentimes hilarious weekly romp around Headquarters, in Coffee-Can Alley, with Natty Bumpercar and his entire gaggle of pals! Giggle in wonder as Robot sneaks into the studio. Smile with joy when Baby Bumpercar visits the studio. Stare with amazement when Doodle Poodle and a bunch of other characters say a lot of things about a lot of things and just know that Pig is the best pig that has ever stepped to a microphone – ever. A lot of tremendous stuff can happen in a short amount of time – and we prove that every week on the Bumperpodcast!

Here is a link to the archive … We’ve got 91 episodes up!

    http://www.nattybumpercar.com/bumperpodcast-archive/

New shows are posted on the blog each Wednesday.

Thanks for your time … Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks a ton,

    – Natty Bumpercar

Hey, I’ve been listening to the Distorted View show for a few months, and it’s my favorite podcast, or show, EVER!! Tim Henson has been runningg the show since 1996. From 1996- 2003 he broadcasted live from the TellMe phone network. In 2004 he started using the newfangled podcast technology to send out his show. He’s still at it, with over 1300 episodes since 2004. Since 2007 he’s been running the Distorted View Sideshow, which is a special subscription service that allows paying listeners access to every episode, including many from the pre- podcast shows (plus bonus episodes and videocasts). The show features 3 distinct segments: First, a silly or gross song/remix/parody/mash- up, then the theme song and Tim playing and commenting on funny audio. (Every tuesday, Tim replaces this segment with him reading a gross/bizzare/poorly written sex story.) Next, he reads and comments on crazy bizzare twisted and effed- up news. Finally, he plays and replies to voicemails sent in by his (perhaps half- retarded) listeners and one more song. I listened to it in first in march, but was turned off by the news story about a dead baby. Since then I’ve realized how hilarious that stuff is. PS Tim has recently stopped updating because of his dying father, but there’s still a couple month’s worth of episodes on the site.

    Hello there,
My name is Adam Nicol, and I run both a website and many podcasts at The Old Oilhouse ( http://oldoilhouse.weebly.com/ ) as well as being a co-owner of a site that deals mostly in podcast publishing at The Nerdsphere Network (http://www.thenerdsphere.blogspot.com/)

I was wondering if it was possible to ask for The Old Oilhouse to get a review or some such. We’ve been going for over two years now, and grown from a Transformers Podcast to a geek -based shows, that deals with everything from terrible movies to the newest Thundercats episodes.

I hope to hear back from you

    Great site Jeremy!

I host a podcast here in Atlantic Canada called “Sounds Like An Earful”; all about getting curious with our ears. We talk about music and sound design, but keep it rooted in day to day life. I ask friends and strangers to participate in lots of cool sound experiments as well as write and record all of the original music. I’d definitely appreciate your ears if you have some free time to check it out!
