I really like your blog. Your reviews are fair and thorough and you seem to have a wide breadth of subjects you’re interested in reviewing.
Myself and my friend Nicky, both of us lecturers in a technical college here in Ireland, have recently started our own podcast on a weekly basis. It is quite general in topic but generally comedic in tone. Thus far, we have chosen a different subject each week that we discuss at some length. We seem to be doing quite well with a good number of subscribers and good feedback/questions from our listenership.
Episode 12 was posted this week on the subject of The Creative Process.

May I humbly suggest my own podcast: MIGHTY MOVIE PODCAST – Interviews with Filmmakers? We’re just finishing up our third week, and have already posted interviews with such unique directors as Tim Disney (AMERICAN VIOLET), Eran Riklis (THE SYRIAN BRIDE, LEMON TREE), and Slava Tsukerman (LIQUID SKY, PERESTROIKA), with Michael Keaton and Atom Egoyan coming up soon.
I’ve been doing film journalism for a while, mostly text in such publications as Cinefantastique and such online outlets as the Independent Film Channel and Air America Media. I moved into video a few years back, and now am hoping to fill film fans’ hunger to go behind the scenes with these short (usually about 15 minutes), candid, and entertaining interviews.

Please let us know what you think of our podcast – Max Buffer’s Media Museum. It’s a rather daft, and fairly English, assortment of recollections and recommendations from two moderately successful, but ultimately failed, fictional media veterans named Max Buffer and Terry Bland. They offer their appalling advice to media wannabes and come up with shows so awful that they could be real. It is, I hope, a satire on modern television and the cynical way in which producers treat their audiences.
It might be a touch too Anglocentric in places, but I would appreciate any feedback you could give us.

I host a film criticism podcast called More Than One Lesson. It is Christian themed, approaching film from a predominantly thematic standpoint. I’ve discussed such films as “Milk,” “The Hurt Locker,” “Fireproof,” “Hellboy,” and “Religulous.” Even though I’ve only put out 15 episodes, the show has been nominated for a Podcast Award in the “Religion/Inspiration” category. I’d love to get your thoughts on the show.

While we’re at it, I host another podcast called Battleship Pretension. This is also a movie podcast, but not specifically Christian in nature, nor is it focused on reviewing new releases. Rather, my co-host, David Bax, and I pick a different topic each week and discuss it for about an hour or so. Past topics have included discussions of The Hayes Code, our favorite Awesome Movie Deaths, and the Best Movies of the 2000s.
We will also have guests on the show, often from the world of stand-up comedy (though many have film and television credits, as well). Past guests have included the Sklar Brothers (“Wild Hogs”), Paul Rust (“I Love You, Beth Cooper”), Maurice LaMarche (“Pinky and the Brain”), Mather Zickel (“Rachel Getting Married”), and Frank Conniff (“Mystery Science Theater 3000”).
The show has been going for over two and a half years now and has really started to break out in the last six months.

I’ve recently found a podcast I love, and thought you might want to check it out…. it’s called “Reel Pour” and I found it on itunes. What they do is go and see a movie in theaters every week and then pair a bottle of wine with it based on a couple of different factors. Then they open the bottle and taste it on air describing what they taste (which is really interesting by itself), and discuss both the movie and the wine, then review both. It’s really interesting and I’m even learning about wine with them being condescending. You can really feel their passions for both wine and movies. I’m also a fan of Filmspotting, Creative Screen writing magazine podcast, the classic tales podcast, the moth podcast and a bunch of others.
Please review the Bald and Bitter Show. We’ve don’t have to much outside input into the quality of our show, because our fans kiss our ass.

The Peacock and Gamble podcast may be the funniest comedy podcast out there at the moment. It needs much more recognition than it has, though word of mouth has done a lot for it considering they aren’t big names.
I produce a fiction podcast called Scary Stories with Craig Nybo. It’s a mix of horror and sci-fi short stories read by the author and enhanced with music and sound effects.

Hey, I’ve been listening to the Distorted View show for a few months, and it’s my favorite podcast, or show, EVER!! Tim Henson has been runningg the show since 1996. From 1996- 2003 he broadcasted live from the TellMe phone network. In 2004 he started using the newfangled podcast technology to send out his show. He’s still at it, with over 1300 episodes since 2004. Since 2007 he’s been running the Distorted View Sideshow, which is a special subscription service that allows paying listeners access to every episode, including many from the pre- podcast shows (plus bonus episodes and videocasts). The show features 3 distinct segments: First, a silly or gross song/remix/parody/mash- up, then the theme song and Tim playing and commenting on funny audio. (Every tuesday, Tim replaces this segment with him reading a gross/bizzare/poorly written sex story.) Next, he reads and comments on crazy bizzare twisted and effed- up news. Finally, he plays and replies to voicemails sent in by his (perhaps half- retarded) listeners and one more song. I listened to it in first in march, but was turned off by the news story about a dead baby. Since then I’ve realized how hilarious that stuff is. PS Tim has recently stopped updating because of his dying father, but there’s still a couple month’s worth of episodes on the site.
